I am back from New York Trip, and it was so great. I have to thank Anna, who is my friend from Taiwan. But for her invitation, I wouldn't have this such a magnificent trip! I really appreciated u, Anna. I owe it all to you because u not only arranged all schedules beforehand, but also took care of me during the trip. If you schedule next trip, u can invite me. I am glad to keep company with you, it's my pleasure, too.

Day 1, 12.13.2012

Before we arrieved in New York, we made a joke to preface this journey. We missed the train because we talked a lot and forgot the time. What  ridiculous we are! Fortunately, we could take next but instead of. If our bus was the last one, our New York trip would be gone....

After 12 hours, we arrieved in New York and at subway station. To be honest, I don't like the subway.  Dirty and messy, I can't believe it. We were shocked by this scene. We thought the New York is a beatiful, clean, elegant city. But the trueth was opposite. Anyway, we headed to our hostel and decided to have a lunch first.

We were starving!! We ordered a meal for 2, and it was bargain! Only10.99 dollars and it tasted good. I like to eat rice and it was good. As u see in the picture, the quantity was too big to finish it. Due to  the feeling of full, we must have had to take a walk then.

After complementing our stomache, we went to Trinity Church. Anna likes church a lot, she said that she liked the calm and peaceful atmosphere. Well, I am not a christian, I agree with her though.  I like the building and the constructure.  U felt quiet and positive when you were in the church. I believe in the power of prayer, so that's why a lot of people with mental problems who are cured by Christian.

Then we went to wall Street to see the Charging Bull. It is said that you touched or paved the bull, then ur life, job and anything would be smooth afterward. So we must go there to touch it. Believe or not, right? It's true, there were a lot of people and crowed. Everyone was waiting for taking a picture with it. We loved it and hope the ledgend would be come ture.

Day 2, 12.14.2012

IMG_2742

Well, we finished our first schedule and went back home. The first day was so tired because of the long hours drive. So we wanted to save our energies and started from next day. Anna was so amazing, we saw eye to eye to one thing that was meal. We wanted to save money for shopping, so we didn't want to spend to much on food. She suggested that we cook ourselves so that we could save our food expense. Great!!! See, she is amazing, she cooked for us. I like it and it was so so so delicious.

The second day, we went to Macy's department store to go shopping. It was one of must-go places when you travel to New York. People said that it was the world's largest store, so we wanted to take a look how big it was.

Well.... I bought a little... Because I don't think it is the largest store in the world...

I bought cosmetics for my dear sister, and that's it. I didn't buy anything. A little bit disappointed, because too much expectations bfore I went there.

Anyway, the next spot was MOMA (Museum of Modern Art). I have to say, say loudly! I do like this museum a lot, and it was my favorite spot in this trip. Its ideas, iventions and designs are fantastic. I couldn't but wonder, if someone just visted this museum and mimic one of the inventions, what would the inventors feel? They must be angry and feel unfair.  I don't know, I was just thinking about this issue. Ha, I was too serious.

And the following pictures were taken in that day, u could see how outstanding they are!

Then we went to M&M chocolate store, Anna said it was very famous in New York. Yes, it was. I was so shocked by it because there was an variety of types chocolate. I knew M&M before, but just the normal one and normal package, and I saw a lot different kinds of M&M, colors and flavour. Amazing, really.

 SAM_0401  SAM_0405

See, we found our names on the mug. So lucky, aren't we? But if it means that our names are so common, not that special... Ha, because I can't find Isis, Marina, Jeanette and so on...

SAM_0406  SAM_0410

Anna, ha ha, do u imagine the stuff who is someone else?

SAM_0408  SAM_0412

There were a lot of different colors M&M chocolate tubes lifted up by the wall. In the beginning, I tought just some decorations and didn't pay attention to it. But when I saw hundreds of people stood in front of them, it raised the alarm that some errie things existed. In the end, I figured out they were chocolate covered with different colors. Cool, beautiful.

Day 3, 12.14.2012

As usual, we started from the breakfast! We saved a lot of money from lunch and dinner amount, instead of buying small-quality food. So the breakfast is so important!  Thanks Anna again, this time please see clearly at the eggs, different shape eggs and different cooking way.

On our way to Grand Central Terminal, because Chrismas Day is around the corner, u could see a lot of people in Santa Claus, Elf or others costumes on the street. Every where is full of Xmas atmosphere and happyness. I really enjoyed it. There were some street proformers on the streets.( buskers)

SAM_0421  SAM_0425

SAM_0426  SAM_0434

Yeah! Here we were, we arrived the Grand Central Terminal. And there were a lot of vistors and tourists. It's a very breathtaking scen and vivid. I thought the buildings like this one should be conserved well, it was kind of an asset or legacy of a country. It attracts not only hundreds of thousands of tourists, but also bring in significant revenus, for country's economy and for citizen's life quality both are benifit.

SAM_0423  SAM_0427

By the way, I thought Apple studio was so smart. Because it held an activity in the Terminal. When the tourists passed by it, they probably tried it. Then they might be attracted to it and inted to buy one. Ha, might be. Even though it's my spectulating, but it's reasonable. And it's one of the ways of marketing, isn't it?

SAM_0435  SAM_0437

Okay, so, next place is New York Public Library. It's very famous because of the movie "After Tomorrow'. That's right. In fact, when u go to New York, u will see each well-known place squeezed by vistors. This one is no exception.  Funny, outside of the Library, a man who sat on the lion status,  attracted to people to take a picture.

I like this architecture, certainly. It's very elegant, spectacular and impressive.

SAM_0458  SAM_0461

Because Anna really like church, so we visited another one church. If u go to New York, I think this one is one of places which you can't miss.

St. Patrick's church. A huge and big church, it placed many status in it. They are not so much status as arts. But be careful of the warning board. Some parts were not allowed to take a pic.

The last but not least, we went to the Central Park. We was planing to go skating there, but it was too late to play. So , we just took a rest there and took some pictures. So sad. Then we headed to Time Square to go shopping again! Ha ha, I bought clothes and chocolates and a lot of suveniors this day.

Day 4, Dec. 16, 2012

The last day of this trip. Well... it was raining while we were seeing the status of liberty and byooklyn Bridge.

SAM_0498  SAM_0500

SAM_0479  SAM_0481

The view was not good because of the weather. So dim and vague, it was cold and we took a lot of picture of it. And I just choose better two to post.
